ROCKY SWEEPS THE LINEMAN CHALLENGE!Monday, 09 August 2010ROCKY GRIZZLIES SWEEP THE LINEMAN CHALLENGE!!!!!
In every event offered at the 2010 Southern Idaho Lineman Challenge, the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies took first place. This includes every Varsity event and every JV event -- all of them were won by RMHS!!!
Each lineman, offensive and defensive, participates in every event. Based on their performance a number of points are given to the team. At the end of the event, a tally of the points yields the number of points for that team. RMHS scored first in every single event, and they won the Tug-Of-War contest.
The events included:
- bench press (# reps at 185lbs)
- squats (# reps at 225lbs)
- sled drive
- obstacle course
- tire throw
- snapping (# snaps in 15 seconds)
- tug of war (5 lineman from each team participate)
